THE MOMPRENEUR’S MANIFESTO: NAVIGATING GUILT, GROWTH, AND GLORY

May 03, 2025

Welcome to the ride. The chaos. The calling. The beautiful fucking mess that is Entrepreneurship. This year marks a decade on this journey. Ten years of building, breaking and rebuilding. Ten years of chasing purpose, questioning everything, rising from my own ashes again and again.

This isn’t going to be your typical blog wrapped up in perfect parenting quotes or productivity hacks. This is the real, raw truth because if you’re a woman building a business (especially while raising tiny humans), chances are you’re doing mental gymnastics every damn day— trying to prove you’re enough at work, enough at home and enough for yourself.

Business in my 20s was fast and loud and selfish in the best way. I could throw everything at the wall— pull all-nighters, hop on last-minute flights, make mistakes without any catastrophic consequences. It was networking and happy hours, polished outfits and heels, coffees and lunches, spontaneous trips and boujee cars.

Then came motherhood. My son changed everything— and not in the Pinterest quote kind of way. He made me softer and fiercer all at once. He gave my ambition roots. Now in my 30s, I don’t just hustle for the thrill— I build with intention and with legacy in mind. I build with the deep knowing that everything I do and say will impact him (and his future family) somehow.

Mompreneurship has cracked me wide open. If it hasn’t done the same for you, give it time. It will.

It’s a mirror— the kind you can’t hide from. The kind that doesn’t care about your perfect Instagram grid but will make you look at who the fuck is really staring back at you.

You’ll wake up one day and realize payroll is coming and you only have a prayer in the bank account. You’ll lie on the floor, not because you’re sick or drunk, but because the weight of everything is too damn heavy. You’ll make sacrifices chasing a dream most people don’t understand. You’ll lose people because you’re not soft or small or simple enough to fit their comfort zone.

You’ll cry. You’ll rage. You’ll question everything.
And then—if you’re bold enough—you’ll rise.

You’ll rise through the Mom Guilt. You know that sneaky, soul-sucking, bullshit lie that whispers, “You can’t be a good mom and build an empire.” No, no. Your kids don’t need perfection—they need to see a woman who owns her fire and still shows up with love.

You’ll rise and learn to let go of unrealistic expectations. You can be resilient and need rest. You can give your all and still need to step back sometimes. Both are true. Some days you’ll crush it. Others you’ll question your entire existence. Both are part of the journey. Rest when you need to, but don’t you dare stay down. Meditation, massages, margaritas– whatever you need to get through. This isn’t just business. This is legacy. This is showing your kids— and yourself— what’s possible when you refuse to shrink.

You’ll rise and realize balance is a myth. Go for integration. Build a life where your work and your family don’t compete— they co-exist. Stop trying to fit your ambition into neat little time blocks. Life doesn’t work that way. Time blocks are guard rails, not prison bars.

You’ll rise and find your people. Your tribe. Other women who get it— who’ve cried in their office and crushed a launch in the same week. Women who will clap for you, call you out, and carry you when needed. The ones who run from million dollar meetings to snuggling sick kids without skipping a beat.

You’ll rise and understand that “winning” is no longer about money or power or the titles you chase. It’s about becoming a version of yourself you didn’t even know existed. It’s trusting your gut when nothing makes sense. It’s breaking generational patterns while also breaking down in your car between meetings because you refuse to give up on yourself.

Burnout? Yeah, it’s real. But it’s not inevitable. It happens when you lose connection to your “why.” So ask yourself— why are you doing this? What are you chasing? Let that answer guide you, because here’s the truth most won’t say out loud: there is no finish line. No “arrival.” Just more becoming.

So here’s to more guilt, more growth, and more glory.
To another decade of becoming.
To the little boy who made me fight for a softer, stronger version of myself.
To the women doing the impossible every single day.

This is your manifesto.
Own it. Live it. Write your damn story.
